The Aspidites Ramsayi is a medium sized python. They are also known as Woma python . The Aspidites Ramsayi is usually 150 cm in length.
The Woma’s are housed in cages build from shuttering plywood 125 cm long, 75 cm wide and 60 cm high. I use newspaper as a substrate.
The temerature gradient varies between 24-26 degrees Celcius on the cool side with a basking site of 30-35 degrees Celcius.
The light period being used is 12hrs on and 12hrs off
Woma pythons are in general really good feeders.
2-5 scales deep in females, and 10-12 or more subcaudal scales for males
Also the woma’s neonates are in general really good feeders and feed after their first shed. I housed the neonates in small shoe boxes with a heating mat. The temerature between 28-30 degrees celcius, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
